Data Does Matter

Why Does Data Matter?

  1. When a student is struggling, measurable data is the needed baseline data to track and monitor progress.
  2. The measurable data will guide needed interventions for the student.
  3. Measurable data will determine if the specific interventions are resulting in progress.
  4. Data will determine if there is a need for other interventions.
  5. Data collection is what guides our Present Levels of Performance and IEP goal writing in Special Ed.
  6. Progress monitoring students in Special Ed is driven by measurable data.
  7. Measurable data is defensible.
  8. Is your data measurable?
