First Year Administrator

I’m not far removed from being a first year administrator and I know each year there will always be things to learn.   If I could go share a few things with a first year administrator this is what I would say:

  • Get to know the kids – what are they passionate about
  • Build relationships with your staff
  • Be visible in classrooms
  • Be visible in the community
  • Go on home visits
  • There will always be something to do…go home and enjoy your family!
